There are a number of multi-media productions presenting the pioneer story.  These productions range from low budget amateur posts on to full fledge box office films.  From documentaries, to histories produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to historical fiction based on historical facts and events from the time period.  Some are very well done with an accurate portrayal of the time period and known historical facts.  They all attempt to capture some element of the pioneer spirit, experience, struggle, and triumph.  Most productions mix some elements of music as well as other art forms to enrich the presentation.

Fiddlesticks is a great Celtic an American Folk Band. They do traditional hymns and other folk music. Some of the members of the family band are separated right now by miles of ocean, however, I think they get together in the summer. They have a few CD’s out that are fantastic I like Farewell to Nauvoo and Return to Nauvoo.
